R.I.P. Rock n’ Roll Mcdonald’s. Only the good die young. The iconic McDonald’s in River North is closing for remodeling. And when I say remodeling, I mean gutting because they’re ripping out the rock n’ roll memorabilia for a more plane jane look.  McDonald’s will replace the nostalgic items with touchscreen self-serve kiosks and more modern amenities in an effort to revamp the business. Doors close for construction December 30th, so grab a burger while you can.  A number 2 with “special sauce” please.
