Polaroid to debut Android camera

Polaroid's CEO has confirmed the camera company will be debuting a brand-spankin'-new camera at CES 2013.  And it'll be one to compete with Samsung's Galaxy camera with its Android OS...and the camera will have interchangeable lenses.

The camera is currently called IM1836 and that's all we officially know.  But a spec sheet was leaked on Dealerscope (and has been taken off) and the great people at Gizmag snagged the deets before the page went static. Supposedly this camera will be 18.1 megapixels (where does it end?! I thought I was cool for having 8!), built-in Wi-Fi and outputs for headphones and HDMI. It'll have a modest touch screen at 3.5" and a pop-up flash.

It could also be able to record video in HD, take panoramic snaps, and operate on Ice Cream Sandwich.
