You can run or cycle through the streets, listen to your favorite workout mix, and still be aware of what's going on around you thanks to AfterShokz.
AfterShokz Sportz M2 doesn't use your ears: they rest on your cheekbones and pump music vibrations to your brain from there. it leaves your ears free to hear cars, people, trains...and whatever else you might encounter while running, walking, or biking outside.
The headphones themself need to be charged, but once they are they last for 12 hours of listening time. They have a volume control on the cord. The headphone piece sits just in front of your ears. The writer at Gizmodo who did a test run with them says they do bleed a lot of sound, so it wouldn't be wise to get these for a quiet office setting.
And don't worry about running in the rain or getting super-sweaty, these are water-resistant and come with a water-repellent storage case.
Also: if you use these with a smartphone, it's got a built-in mic so you can answer calls while on the go.
