The flexible paper-thin tablet

It's not on the market yet, but it's a big step forward in tablet technology. Queen's University, Plastic Logic and Intel Labs have developed what they're calling e-Paper Tablets. They're flexible, thin and can be combined to form larger screens. Also, it's a lot harder for your 3-year-old kid to break them than your i-Pad.
The tablets are controlled using touch-screen technology as well as certain bending fuctions. For example, bending the corner of the screen back while watching a video will fast-forward, while bending it forward will rewind. Putting attachments on emails is as simple as tapping one tablet to another. Simply moving one tablet next to another will expand the screen, allowing you to better view large images.
The project isn't fully realized yet, but its a darn good start.
