First smartphones...now a smartwatch

Who even wears a watch anymore?  You might start once you take a look at Pebble's watch...because it's not just a watch.

Sure, it tells you the time. But it also controls your music, tells you how far you've run, and receives texts and emails. All on your wrist.  You connect the watch to your iPhone or Android phone with Bluetooth. All you really need to do is download the Pebble app to your phone.  The screen is an e-Paper screen no larger than any normal watch.

It comes in five colors: Jet Black, Arctic White, Cherry Red, Orange, and Grey.  Pebble started out on crowdfunding site Kickstarter where it quickly surpassed its goal and kept going (it hit over $10.2 million in 30 days with nearly 69,000 backers).

You can still pre-order the smartwatch through Pebble's site for $150.  After a minor setback, the watch has been given the FCC's stamp of approval and will be shipping out on January 23rd.
