Czahor here from The Maxwell Show, it's Tech Toy Tuesday.

Big new CD release today, it’s 12/12/12 The Concert Sandy Relief album. It includes songs from The Boss, Roger Waters, The Stones, The Who, Billy Joel, Clapton, Bon Jovi, and more. The bad news, it’s not the whole concert. In order to get it to fit on two discs they cut  Born to Run and Livin' on a Prayer, most of Nirvana’s set, all of Kanye West’s set, though you might be happy about that last part. It’s $10 for the physical copy, of which $6.50 goes to relief efforts.

On Blu Ray and DVD, End of Watch, the cop drama starring Jake Gyllenhaal. It was one of those movies that came out, was almost universally praised by critics, annnnnd nobody saw it. Thus, when awards season rolled around it didn’t get any nominations. Find a night when the hawks are off and rent it.

Some Tech News this week Amazon mp3 has launched a mobile version that works on apple devices. This is huge, because it breaks the itunes monopoly as far as downloading songs directly onto your iphone and ipod.

Tech Toy of the week is the Asus Qube.

It’s a Google TV box, what’s Google TV? Well it’s like a Roku player? So what the hell’s a Roku player? Well say you’ve got Netflix Streaming, or Hulu Plus, or Amazon Prime, and you like watching those films and shows on your laptop or your tablet but you’d like an easy way to watch it on your TV, THAT’s what the Qube is for. Of course it’ll network with your computers so you can pull up any music or video or photos that are on your computer if you hook it The remote has a full keyboard on it so you can surf the web, it has a gyroscope in it so you can play android games, it’s basically a small, low powered computer that you hook to your TV. It will retail for $150 dollars and should be here before the leaves return.
