As human beings, our sight, perception and decision-making mechanisms are flawed. Lucky, we invent machines to do a lot of the calculating for us. The Garmin Approach S2 is one such device for the avid golfer.
The digital watch is programmed with information on 30,000 courses around the world; all the layouts and specs are at your fingertips. The watch also uses GPS to gage the distance to the hole and pedometer to tell you how far you've walked. There's also a digital scorecard so you don't have to bother with those tiny pencils.
The watch will be out this March for $250.
