The Eagles, Farewell Live From Melbourne is out for the first time ever on Blu Ray today, it's being re released on DVD too. They recorded the show in 2004, so that makes it the final final final Eagles farewell tour that took place after the Hell Freezes Over tour but before the Long Road Out Of Eden Tour.
Also out on Blu Ray today, The Master. A gorgeous, gloriously acted, confusing mess of a film. Four months after seeing it I still can't determine if it's the best bad movie I've ever seen or the worst good movie I've ever seen. Spoiler alert, Amy Adams gives the most awkward handie ever.
Sony offically announced the Playstation 4 last week. That's the actual title of the system, so here's everything we know. Sony asked developers what they wanted in a new system and they were told to make it more like a PC, and more like a phone, so that's exactly what Sony did. The controler looks similar to what the Dual Shock has always looked like, but it adds a touch pad that will let you use phone like swipes and taps to navigate menus.

As far as making it more like a PC, Sony has created a beast of a system. The headline spec is 8 gigs of ram. Most PCs you buy off the shelf are going to have 2 or 4. How does that benefit you? Sony claims you'll be able to turn your system on and be in game within three seconds. You'll be able to get your hands on it sometime before Christmas. Sony hasn't announced a price for the system yet, but expect them to do everything possible to make it affordable. My guess is they'll do everything they can to keep it at the 399.99 price point.
