California.....No thanks......I'll pass

Maxwell here -
Guess there were a bunch of earthquakes in California over the weekend. Have fun with that. When I was a kid my mom would talk about how awesome it was in Cali where my uncle lives. I remember thinking “but the ground shakes….a lot…..and cars get swallowed up by the earth”…..Fast forward many, many years and I still can’t figure out why people want to live in California.
a) Earthquakes…they WILL happen. One WILL eventually swallow the entire state.
b) The cost of living is through the roof…that just collapsed….because of the earthquake.
c) I wouldn’t fit in OR be cool driving my non-luxury 4 door sedan around LA…….right before it’s swallowed up by the earthquake.
d) My fat belly would look even worse when standing next to skinny California people...AND when it jiggles because of the earthquake.
e) I have a sneaking suspicion ...

Wiper fluid price gouging?
3/6/2014 6:47:00 AM
Maxwell here – I smell a rat. I’ve re-upped on wiper fluid 3 times this winter. 3 times!
Seems to me the price had increased every time. Yesterday this cost me $ 3.50…when winter started it was running around $2.50 I’m thinking I can make my own with white vinegar and rubbing alcohol….although that might be explosive. That’s probably not good.
Not only that….but how bout a wiper fluid gauge on the dash? It’d be good to know when I’m coming close to running low on juice so I’m not driving blind on the Kennedy.
I see it happen to everyone. Gauge me holmes…….gauge me.
