It’s almost here- Turkey day! Time to gather around with family and friends, talk about what your thankful for, and eat so much you put yourself into food coma, and spare just enough room in your belly for some beer (or at least I know I will)! What should we be thankful for right now? I know what you’re thinking – you’re thinking, ‘What the hell was Kevin Clash thinking? He’s ruining Elmo for everyone!’ or, ‘Did we really just lose to the 49ers? WTF!’ Well, things could always get worse… so here are some things we can all be thankful for: the weather in Chicago is supposed to be beautiful all week long, The Loop is having an event on Black Friday where you’ll have a chance to win a new car and get a signed 2013 poster calendar from yours truly, and Bears enthusiasts can look forward to getting a win over the Vikings this weekend!

These first few weeks as the Loop Rock Girl have been awesome! I’ve been talking on the radio, doing photo shoots for the www.wlup.com website and the Hawthorne Race Course calendar, and answering a ton of your emails! I just want to give a quick thank you to all of you who have been sending me some very positive feedback, and I will always do my best to answer all your emails individually! My first Loop Rock Girl event on my own is this Friday (Nov. 23rd) at Hawthorne Race Course from 3pm-6pm so I’m really hoping for a great turnout!
