While they might not admit it, most every guitar player, bass player, and drummer, stares up at the stage of their favorite performer just hoping for that 1 in a million chance that they get asked to “save the day” and jump up on stage and play a song.
For Ben Dawson, that day actually happened when he shouted to Chris Cornell “Chris can I play a song with you?”. The next thing you know, young Ben Dawson had an acoustic guitar on and was jamming out Soundgarden’s Outshined with Cornell live at Newcastle City Hall.. and yes, he did a damn good job too!
