Live Like John Lennon

Talk about a cool piece of Beatles memorabilia, how would you like to live in John Lennon’s house? Of course you would, right? I mean, just being there means his energy would suddenly flow through you veins and you would be writing rock pop magic within seconds of stepping in the door.. or not.
Magic karma aside, it is an amazing house. Basically, we are talking about a Surrey mansion that was owned by John Lennon who lived there with his first wife Cynthia from 1964 to 1968. You can see some of it in the documentary “Imagine: John Lennon”.
It’s described as "An original 1920's Tarrant house, Kenwood is situated at the heart of the exclusive St George's Hill Estate, acknowledged as one of the UK's premier private residential addresses. The house occupies a superb plateau position set around St George's Hill's renowned golf course, tennis club and leisure amenities. Kenwood overlooks magnificent landscaped gardens and grounds and enjoys uninterrupted views of the Surrey Hills."
Sounds perfect, how much? £15m
What’s that in Dollars? $23,542,500.00
Ouch! Of course, that seems like a lot of money for a 6 bedroom mansion built in 1920, but it does have an indoor pool and a hell of a view of a golf course. And.. John Lennon wrote several of the songs for Sgt. Peppers in this very house.
But there is a downside my friend. (Cue dramatic music). The house is believed to be cursed by some of the local residents. You see, every single owner of the property since John Lennon has gotten divorced and has been forced to sell the house. Even John ended up divorcing his then wife and eventually moving with Yoko to NY.
If I had 23 million dollars, I could find a hell of a lot of other things I would much rather buy than this old house, however… it’s still pretty damn cool.
