The Eagles just premiered their Showtime documentary, "History of The Eagles (Story of An American Band)," at the Sundance Film Festival.  One of the key takeaways seems have been that the band did not experience all the infighting that the media would have you believe.  

Speaking to FOX411's Pop Tarts column, Don Henley said, "such public perception is far from accurate."  Joe Walsh added that the "bitter rivalry" so often reported truly didn't take place.

"We argued a lot, we had discussions," he explained. "But there was a great camaraderie between us... We had a great time trying to make it."

The film will air on Showtime in two parts on February 16 and 17 at 8:00 p.m.
