Bob Seger Live in Chicago April 6th

Let’s face it, Bob sure has a lot of fans here in the Midwest, and I know a lot of us will be excited to hear that he is bringing the tour to Chicago. Bob Seger and The Silver Bullet Band: Rock and Roll Never Forgets Tour will play the United Center on April 6th, 2013.

Lucky us, the opening act is none other than Joe Walsh.

As you may have heard, Bob has been hard at work recording his latest album in Nashville and Detroit. Originally, I know he had hoped to have it out by last September, but yeah, that didn’t happen. Hey man, it’s art, and Bob Seger is always worth the wait.

In the meantime, you can catch a brand new duet with Bob Seger and John Fogerty as they perform the classic “Who’ll Stop The Rain”. Fogerty’s new album “Wrote a Song for Everyone” will be released on on May 28th, and is already available for presale via Amazon and iTunes.

Tickets for Bob Seger in Chicago go on sale to the general public on Saturday February 16th at 10am. I wouldn’t be surprised if we see some of the usual presale events happening, and I’ll be sure to pass along that info as soon as it is confirmed.
