I'm having the time of my life!

Hello my lovely Loyal Loopers!
I've been super busy but loving every minute of it! I love waking up
everyday, stretching my legs and thinking, I am the Loop Rock Girl!!!!
It's still so surreal to me!
On Saturday, May 22nd, I hosted the Monsters of Mock series at Durty
Nellies. It was my first MoM and the 3rd in The Loop's free monthly
concert series! The opening band, 3 If By Air, was a totally awesome
local cover band! Then it was time for the ultimate Journey Tribute
band, FRONTIERS! They freakin' rocked the house! I was amazed how much
they sounded just like Journey! I looked at the crowd and everyone had
their hands up, singing all the songs! What a fun night! I can't wait
for the Monsters of Mock series to continue this month on June 18th!

My Memorial Day weekend was spent doing all kinds of Loop events. On
Saturday, I was at Verizon Wireless in Lake Zurich, giving away a
Portable Weber Q Grill with Pat Capone. Then on Sunday, I rocked out and
played Guitar Hero in the Loop tent at the Belmont/Sheffield Music
Festival! On Monday, I was at Libertyville Mitsubishi checking out all
the sweet rides they have!
Last Wednesday, the Loop and I tailgated at the Sox game before our Loop
Sox Nite! We had 200 loyal listeners come and cheer on the Sox against
the Rangers. We gave out limited edition Loop/Sox T-Shirts to fans at
our tailgate as well! I can't wait to do it again on July 27th! It'll be
the second of our Loop Sox Nite Series'! Be sure to grab your tickets,
we sell them for ONLY $9.79!!!
On Saturday night we rocked out to Styx & Foreigner at the Charter One
Pavilion downtown until the weather decided to shut things down. We
brought out our new Loop iPad to give fans the chance to sign up or
update their Loyal Looper accounts and get access to all the goodies you
get! We were having a good time until the wind and rain played havoc on
Styx' set.
I am literally having the time of my life! This year is going to be the
best. I am truly blessed. I can't wait to meet all you Loyal Loopers in
the upcoming months! You ROCK my WORLD!
