I give a lot of credit to musicians who play in tribute bands; it’s something that I couldn’t do. Trust me, I have been offered the gigs, I just don’t have the ability to dive so far in to one bands music and style so as to play them in costume for hours on end. Nope, can’t do it. J
HOWEVER, I can totally understand how if that was your thing, and then one of the guitarist from the actual band stopped by to sit in with you.. well.. I would love it.
Here is just that kind of video. Back in 1994, Vinnie Vincent sat in with some KISS tribute band playing at the KISS convention in Buffalo NY.
