What an incredible month of re-issues! Maybe it's the holidays looming in the near future... whatever it is, I'm going to be broke by the end of the month.
I thought I'd compile a list to help you keep track of what's coming...
September 13th
Queen - Re-mastered 40th anniversary edition of their middle 5 albums: News of the World, Jazz, The Game, Flash Gordan and Hot Space.
Bob Seger & Silver Bullet Band - Re-mastered releases of his 2 classic live discs - Live Bullet and Nine Tonight, wach with bonus material.
Jimi Hendrix - 4th wave of new releases from the Hendrix vaults.
Winterland - 4 disc set of unreleased material and interviews.
Hendrix In The West
Wild Blue Angel: Jimi Hendrix at the Isle of Wight - uncut
and a DVD featuring all of his appearances on the Dick Cavett Show.
Alice Cooper - Welcome 2 My Nightmare - the sequel.
September 27th
Sting - 25 Years - box set containing 55 tracks.
Chickenfoot - III Sophomore disc (I guess math isn't their strong point)
Pink Floyd - Their entire 14 album catalog will get the remastered treatment.
also out that day, Dark Side of the Moon "Immersion Edition". This classic album on 6 discs - including alternate takes, unreleased tracks, restored live concert films, and live recording of the album from London in 1974.
not only will you need to use a whoe paycheck for these releases, you'll need to use your vacation time to listen to them!
Enjoy!!
