Interview Scott Paddock from Chicagoland Speedway
3/5/2013 2:23:00 PM
The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series is off to a hurried start. The Subway Fresh Fit 500 from Phoenix was the highest rated televised sporting event of last weekend. Like most of you, I was watching the Blackhawks exciting comeback against the Detroit Red Wings.
While scoring the winning goal during the shootout, was Patrick Kane also auditioning for the future spot on “Dancing with the Stars”?
But afterwards tuned in to watch Carl Edwards take the checkered flag and, of course, celebrate with his patented backflip.
(Don’t try imitating the backflip. Trust me)
The 2013 Sprint Cup "Race for the Chase" will once again begin at Chicagoland Speedway with the Geico 400. The previous 2 drivers to win that event (Tony Stewart in 2011 and Brad Keselowski in 2012) went on to win the Cup title.
Coincidence? I’m not sure. But we asked that and more to Scott Paddock who is the President of Chicagoland Speedway in our interview posted above.
Check it out and also join us for the NASCAR racing in Joliet this summer and fall. Tickets are available at www.ChicagolandSpeedway.com or 888-629-RACE.
