I know I rave a lot about certain people, but Joe Perry is one of THE coolest people I've ever been around. He's got such a cool rock style and could not have been a more gracious guy. He brought his wife Billie with him and she was so sweet too. All in all, over an hour of Joe on the radio, I was in heaven! Last friday Jill and I broadcast from Crossroads Bar and Grill before the Kiss/Buckcherry show at the United Center. Leah the Rock Girl was there giving away tickets like crazy! I know we made a LOT of people happy. The Gene Simmons Axe bus stopped by for a little while and we took pictures with an autographed Gene Simmons bass and by the bus. We also gave away a meet n greet to the Kiss fan that was the most "Kiss-ed off"! This guy had like 13 Kiss tattoos, Kiss underwear, a Kiss Visa and more. So he got to meet the band. I know I had a a great time! His name was Lonnie and.... well, I'll let him explain:

As a Futbol fan and a Jon Busch fan, the Chicago Fire are in the playoffs this weekend and to celebrate I just stayed in the studio and hot girls visited! I love this soccer stuff! Actually they are the firestarters and they were sweet girls that let me hug up on 'em. See what I mean!

If you listen to me with any regularity, then you know I am a HUGE fan of the band The Answer. Well I'm happy to pass on another band I've recently discovered. They are Danish, they rock and they are called Volbeat. Kinda like Danzig meets Johnny Cash. Like Peter Steele singing for Rammstein. Like, ok you get the idea. I LOVE this song and if you don't, I question your rock taste buds.

So there are a few of us at the radio station that are growing beards until Christmas. Why you ask? Why not! So to those of you loyal Loopers that are starting your own or are already rocking the facial hair, I thought you'd find this link funny. I feel like a Collie constantly scratching my face. Any of you pro's we'd love some advice!
