Do Your Internship at The Loop

Q101 and The Loop are looking for Interns. If you have an outgoing personality, flexible schedule and are willing to work hard, then Q101 and the LOOP want you!

The next Q101/LOOP Marketing & Promotions Internship program takes place this Summer from May 2008 through September 2008. We are looking for hard-working, ambitious college students willing to spend their time in a fast-paced, exciting and unique environment, learning what it takes to succeed in major-market radio. Interns will be asked to dedicate 20-30 hours per week to the Promotion & Marketing department for both Q101 and The Loop 97.9 and will be exposed to programming and on-air aspects of the radio stations. Interns will be responsible for various office duties such as preparing for station events, contacting contest winners, mailing out prizes and assisting department staff with various needs. On-site responsibilities will include execution of station events, concerts, movie premieres, street festivals and various sales promotions.

A major in Radio is not a requirement, but a friendly, outgoing, hard-working personality is absolutely necessary. The internship is unpaid and we require that you receive credit from your school. If spending your time working your butt off for Chicago’s primary rock stations sounds like something you'd enjoy, then email a cover letter and resume to:
