Favorite Loop Story A judge put a ban on our birdfeeding after a neighbor complained it attracted too many critters in his yard. Johnny B,Gino & Matt paid us a surprise visit to help us fight the ban. After a year of court battles our birds can be fed again.

The Loop was born in 1977, out of a goofy station that had all girl DJs and played sappy "Adult Rock." In '79, an eccentric Hawaiian guy bought the station and brought in guys like Steve & Garry, Sky Daniels, and a dozen or so other misfits. First order of business was losing the James Taylor and pumpin' out Nugent, Zeppelin, and everything that rocked… blowing up the disco records… and the rest is history. Amazingly, the Loop is still alive, and intends to be for a long time. So get used to it.
