"Hopefully there's a record in there somewhere," he says, adding, "It's better to over-cut and see what you've got -- then you step away for a month or two and come back and listen to it."

Adams reveals that he's gotten an offer from Foster to sign a deal with his 143 Records label.  However, he seems quite pessimistic about the current state of the music business, which he says "is in such peril now."

"It's such a shame," Adams laments.  "I've just kept myself afloat by touring... basically 120 shows a year."

Bryan also is an accomplished photographer who's currently promoting a new retrospective exhibit and companion book of his work.  The book, called Exposed, collects photos he's snapped over a 10-to-12-year period.  The book features images of many celebrities, including such music stars as Mick Jagger, Michael Jackson, Sting and Elton John, who wrote the book's forward.  Also are included are photographs of such non-musical luminaries as Michael J. Fox, Ben Kingsley, Lindsay Lohan and Queen Elizabeth II.

He says his experience with the British royal, who he snapped along with her husband, Prince Philip, was "delightful," adding, "They're interested and they're interesting."

Adams has a handful of upcoming U.S. concerts scheduled this month, and his Exposed exhibit is scheduled for a stateside opening in December in Dallas.  Visit BryanAdams.com to check out his complete itinerary.
