John Lennon Died 32 Years Ago Today

In addition, annual vigils are scheduled to be held in several locations important to Lennon's life and history.  In John's hometown of Liverpool, England, The Beatles Story museum is sponsoring a gathering that will take place at the European Peace Monument, a sculpture dedicated to Lennon's memory that's located outside the city's Echo Arena.  There also will be annual get-togethers in Los Angeles at the Capitol Records Building and in New York City at the Strawberry Fields area of Central Park.
