Facebook.com/JourneyJourney has scheduled their first-ever concert on the Pacific island of Guam. The show is scheduled to take place at the Yigo Amusement Park on March 23, at the tail end of a series of dates the band has lined up in New Zealand, Australia, Japan, Singapore and the Philippines. Deep Purple will serve as co-headliners during the Down Under portion of the trek, which gets under way on February 24 in Auckland, New Zealand, and runs through a March 7 performance in Perth, Australia.
Journey also has five U.S. concerts in early February that are makeup dates for shows the rockers postponed in the fall after singer Arnel Pineda came down with a case of laryngitis. Loverboy will open all of these gigs, while Pat Benatar will be on the bill for the first two.
Following the Guam performance, Journey will head to the U.K. in May for a co-headlining tour with Whitesnake. Visit JourneyMusic.com to check out the band's entire 2013 itinerary.
