Island RecordsBon Jovi's new single "Because We Can," the lead single from their upcoming disc What About Now, is now available at iTunes.  The band has just revealed a release date for album, which is their 12th studio release: it'll be in stores March 26. 

"Because We Can" is an anthemic sing-along custom-made for the stadiums the band will be playing later this year.  The chorus states, "I don't wanna be another wave in the ocean/I am a rock, not just another grain of sand/Wanna be the one you run to when you need a shoulder/I ain't a soldier but I'm here to take a stand/Because we can."

The band plans to release several more tracks from the disc ahead of its street date.  Fans will be able to use iTunes' "Complete My Album" feature to buy the rest of the album when March 26 rolls around.

The deluxe version of What About Now will feature "Not Running Anymore," a solo song that Jon Bon Jovi wrote and recorded for the new movie Stand Up Guys.  The song is nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song -- we'll find out Sunday if Jon takes home the trophy.
