Deluxe Edition of Mad Season's "Above" to Be Released in April

Columbia RecordsFans of Mad Season -- the all-star collaboration that included late Alice in Chains frontman Layne Staley and Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready -- will be able to get their hands on a deluxe edition of the band's only studio album, Above, in April.

The forthcoming package features a remastered version of the 1995 collection, as well as a number of previously unreleased tracks from the band's unfinished second album, with new lyrics and vocals by former Screaming Trees singer Mark Lanegan.  The set also includes a copy of the band's only live DVD, Live at the Moore, and a video of the group's performance from New Year's Eve 1995 at the now-defunct Seattle club, RKCNDY.

The deluxe edition of Above will arrive in stores on April 2.  Here's the track list of the remastered album, which includes the bonus tracks:
