Larry Busacca/Getty Images for EJAFElton John and his partner David Furnish's son Zachary has a new baby brother or sister, sources tell the New York Post.
The paper reports that the couple has welcomed a second child via surrogate, the same surrogate who gave birth to Zachary on Christmas Day in 2010. As before, the woman's identity is being kept secret.
In November, there had been reports that Elton and David were going to expand their family, but neither man ever confirmed the rumors. Elton was quoted as saying last year, "At what stage we don’t know. But we definitely will. I don’t want [Zachary] to be an only child.”
The legendary rocker further explained that he felt it was important for Zachary to have a sibling, because growing up with two dads might be difficult. Speaking to NBC's Today show last year, Elton said, "When he's four and he starts going to preschool kids will say, 'You don't have a mummy.'... And I want him to have a brother or a sister to go to school with him. And so that he can have someone to play with."

The Loop was born in 1977, out of a goofy station that had all girl DJs and played sappy "Adult Rock." In '79, an eccentric Hawaiian guy bought the station and brought in guys like Steve & Garry, Sky Daniels, and a dozen or so other misfits. First order of business was losing the James Taylor and pumpin' out Nugent, Zeppelin, and everything that rocked… blowing up the disco records… and the rest is history. Amazingly, the Loop is still alive, and intends to be for a long time. So get used to it.
