GeezerButler.comBlack Sabbath bassist Geezer Butler is among the rock stars contributing to the debut album from Device, Disturbed frontman David Draiman's side project with ex-Filter guitarist Geno Lenardo.
Draiman posted a message on the band's Facebook page on Friday revealing some details about the upcoming release, which will include appearances by former Deep Purple bassist/singer Glenn Hughes, Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello, System of a Down singer Serj Tankian, Avenged Sevenfold frontman M. Shadows, and Halestorm frontwoman Lzzy Hale.
Draiman also announced that in addition to Lenardo, Device's touring lineup will feature Evanescence drummer Will Hunt and Dope guitarist Virus.
In addition, the singer noted that the album's first single, "Vilify," will arrive at radio on February 19. A video for the track was shot over the weekend. Other song titles that are expected to be a part of the release include "You Think You Know," "Recover," "Hunted," "War of Lies" and "Through It All," the last of which will feature Hughes.
No title has been revealed for the album, which is tentatively due out on April 9.
