New Years Resolutions

Congratulations! If you’re reading this it means you’ve successfully made it to year 2014! I hope you enjoyed your New Years and didn’t have too bad of a hangover on January 1st. Did you make any big New Years resolutions? I’ve decided to share some of mine with you!

A new skill I’d like to learn: I’d love to try bow hunting! Call me crazy, but I think it sounds like a lot of fun. My dad has always been a great all-around hunter so it’s about time for me to catch up.

A place I’d like to visit: My family goes hiking in Wyoming every year around the end of the summer, but I’ve never been able to make it, so I’d love to make that trip with them this year!

A book I’d like to read: I’m a pretty avid reader. I read during my commute on the train downtown, so I go through about 3 books a month. I’d like to read more biographies on legends like Jimi Hendrix and Paul McCartney. On a side note, has anyone read the Duck Dynasty book by Phil Robertson entitled ‘Happy, Happy, Happy’? I highly recommend it if you haven’t! I’m a big fan of the Duck Dynasty television show.

A new food I’d like to try: I wouldn’t like to try a specific type of food as much as I’d like to just eat more food! I’d really love to go on one of Chicago’s food tours! I’ve heard nothing but great things about them. Being able to eat at five or six different restaurants in a matter of hours sounds like something that’s right up my alley!

I’m going to do better at: EVERYTHING!
