Joan Jett to Sing For Nirvana in Rock Hall Performance?

Rumours have been circulating that Joan Jett will join Nirvana for a performance at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame tomorrow night.

On Thursday the band will finally be inducted during the annual ceremony, which will also witness the surviving members of the band put on a performance. Kris Novoselic, Dave Grohl and Pat Smear will all be in the line-up, but it's been a close-kept secret who will do vocals.

Paul McCartney and Michael Stipe have been mentioned previously but now that this photo of Joan's Melody Maker guitar next to Novoselic's bass has appeared, she seems to be the most likely singer.

The band will be inducted by R.E.M. singer Michael Stipe during the ceremony at New York’s Barclays Center; other honorees include KISS, Peter Gabriel, Hall and Oates, Cat Stevens, Linda Ronstadt, and The E Street Band.

This past weekend marked the 20th anniversary of the passing of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain.
