After 6 years playing guitar with GnR, DJ Ashba has decided to leave the band to put all of his focus on the upcoming 2 album release and tour with Nikki Sixx and Sixx: A.M., for which he has been playing guitar for since the band’s inception in 2007. The departure from GnR is an applicable one, and DJ has called Front man Axel Rose a “true friend and a champion of mine.”
