Former AC/CD front man Bon Scott is having a memoir published in his honor. The book is titled Live Wire, and it’s being told by “3 of the people who knew him best.” John D’Arcy, Scott’s roadie, D’Arcy’s wife Gaby, and Scott’s “soulmate and companion” Mary Renshaw, have come together to pen the book. It can be pre-ordered now, and will hit the shelves on October 14th. Renshaw told the Sydney Morning Herald, “We met in ’68 and we stayed good friends through it all. A lot of books don’t have the depth … they didn’t know the real Bon.” With more than one film currently in the works on his life, it’s great knowing Bon’s legacy is still being carried on by some very caring people.
