There’s been a countdown clock ticking down on Foo Fighters’ website and now we know why.  The band this morning issued a 5 song EP that you can download free from the band’s site.  They are accepting donations for victims of the terror attacks in Paris.  The incident hit close to home for Dave Grohl and Foo Fighters–Dave has drummed with Josh Homme’s band Queens of the Stone Age, who is also in Eagles of Death Metal.  That’s the band that was performing at the Bataclan theater which was the site of one of the biggest atrocities that evening.
