Vince Neil Doesn’t Want to Follow in the Footsteps of KISS

Vince
Vince Neil is a firm believer in the adage “all good things must come to an end.” The lead singer of Motley Crue recently re-stated in an interview with the San Diego Union-Tribune, “Kiss had five farewell tours and four reunion tours. That’s exactly what we don’t want to do. That was the whole reason. We wanted to go out on top, with people saying, ‘Yeah, man, I saw the last concert. It was awesome!’ We don’t want to be that band, where it’s [billed as] Mötley Crüe, and it’s maybe one [original member’s] brother left in the band, and they’re playing clubs. If we let that happen, we wouldn’t be thought of or remembered like we wanted to be.”

To Vince’s point, everyone in the band signed a “cessation of touring” agreement, meaning no one member of Motley Crue can tour as Motley Crue and capitalize on the band name. While we will never say never, it appears as if the Crue really is rocking for the last time.
