While Black Sabbath did abandon plans to record another album in support of their current tour, once the tour is over, all bets are off. According to Tony Iommi, he has an arsenal of new material, but it was Geezer Butler who put the breaks on the new album. But Geezer recently told Rolling Stone, “I was just being logical. At the time, we were given six months to write and record an album and I said, ‘There’s absolutely no way we can do it in six months.’ There’s nothing stopping us from doing another album after the tour.” Ozzy seems keen on the Idea of doing another album after the tour is over as well. Good things may still lie ahead for Sabbath fans after The End tour is over!
