Rock And Roll Hall of Fame Starts Name-Dropping

We know who’s being inducted on April 8th at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, and now we’re hearing names of some of the “special guests” who’ve been invited.  Look for Metallica’s Lars Ulrich, The Black Keys and Rob Thomas of Matchbox 20 when Chicago, Cheap Trick, Deep Purple, N.W.A. and Steve Miller join the 312 acts in The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

What we don’t know is what role they’ll play.  Are they on hand to induct an act?  As Ulrich has been pushing for Deep Purple’s admission since 2014, odds are good he’ll do the honors for them.  Said Lars to Rolling Stone a couple of years ago, “I’m not gonna get into the politics or all that stuff, but I got two words to say: Deep Purple.  That’s all I have to say: Deep Purple. Seriously, people, Deep Purple. Two simple words in the English language.”

Tickets for the event, which will take place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., will go on sale to the general public on Feb. 5 at 10AM. Pre-sales for Hall of Fame members and Citibank card holders will start January 30 and on Feb. 1, respectively. VIP packages will also be sold beginning January 30.  Click here for the link for tickets:  ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME 2016 INDUCTION
