Add Vince Neil to the list of people disappointed over the Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show. He put Chris Martin on full blast.
Ironically, Metallica accused Motley Crue of lip syncing their performance at the 1997 American Music Awards. Neil fired back “There is no lip-syncing in rock ‘n’ roll; I mean, it just doesn’t happen. So it’s kind of a stupid thing to even talk about, because, I mean, anybody who goes to the show can tell there’s no lip-syncing involved. It’s pretty lame.”
The fact is ALL Super Bowl performances are lip synced. Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers responded following criticism of their performance at the game 2 years ago. “There was not any room for argument on this. The NFL does not want to risk their show being botched by bad sound, period.”
