Axl Rose may need to borrow Dave Grohl’s throne. The Guns N’ Roses frontman has announced that he broke his foot, but the band’s upcoming reunion tour, which begins tonight, April 8, in Las Vegas, will go on as planned.
“This is what can happen when you do something you haven’t done in nearly over 23 years,” writes Rose on Twitter. He also posted a video in which his orthopedic surgeon describes the singer’s injury and shares x-rays of his foot. The doctor also explains that tour will undergo a few stage modifications to accommodate Rose’s injury.
