As AC/DC prepares to take to the road for the first time without frontman Brian Johnson who is struggling with hearing issues, there has been somewhat of a backlash among fans and even other artists over AC/DC’s decision to press on with their touring obligations with a new singer-Axl Rose.
The band is set for 12 European concerts, with the postponed North American dates yet to be announced.
We’ve learned that AC/DC even considered rotating singers, and among the names discussed were ex-Skid Row frontman Sebastian Bach and the singer of Jet, Nic Cester.
At at least one of the shows in Europe, June 4th in London at the Olympic Stadium, the local promoter is offering fans a chance to get a refund on their tickets through Friday if they do not want to see Axl/DC.
