LED ZEPPELIN Day in Court Pushed Back

The copyright infringement lawsuit brought against Led Zeppelin by the estate of Spirit guitarist Randy California over “Stairway to Heaven” has been postponed until next month.

The trial was scheduled to start next Tuesday, May 10th, but federal judge R. Gary Klausner has delayed it until June 14th.

The estate claims that Jimmy Page plagiarized part of the Spirit song “Taurus” for use in “Stairway to Heaven.” Page denies it.

Page and Robert Plant are not expected to attend the trial. Video depositions will instead be shown in court.
