Robin Zander was interviewed at a music industry event on Tuesday. The Cheap Trick singer apparently has a home near Johnson’s in Florida and says as much as he loves AC/DC he wouldn’t do it without Johnson’s blessing.
Cheap Trick is also in the news for, like Joe Walsh, turning down a performance at this summer’s Republican National Convention in Cleveland, saying that the band would require Swastika shaped guitars and that they prefer to stay away from politics anyways.
And we also get his thoughts on Cheap Trick’s induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last month.
