A 2010 photograph taken by Boris Minkevich for the Winnipeg Free Press has been the gift that keeps on giving for Guns N’ Roses meme maniacs, and now Axl wants you to knock it off.  The picture portrays a portly Axl wheezing his way through a performance on the “Chinese Democracy” tour, and now Rose is claiming ownership of the image and sent a cease and desist to Google asking them to remove it and all the memes.

Rose to Google: “Copright image of Axl Rose. Please be advised that no permission has been granted to publish the copyright image so we cannot direct you to an authorized example of it.”  We know of no response yet from Google.
