Guns N’ Roses Honor Orlando Shooting Victims

The people of Orlando, the U.S.A. and certainly the people in the gay community were stunned by the events of June 12th when a gunman shot up the Pulse nightclub and killed 49 people and wounded 53 others.  It is the largest mass shooting in U.S. history.

Add Guns N’ Roses to the list of those paying tribute to the victims that night.  And while singer Axl Rose hasn’t always been friendly with the gay community-see lyrics to “One In A Million”-in 1992 he performed a duet of Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” with Elton John at the Freddie Mercury tribute concert and famously performed “November Rain” with John a few months later at the MTV Video Music Awards.

On Friday, the band performed at Orlando’s Camping World Stadium where the Citrus Bowl is played, and yesterday released this video via their social media feeds.
