Deep Purple’s announced tour dates starting at the end of 2017 to coincide with the release of their new album “inFinite.” The name of the tour is totally ominous… “The Long Goodbye.”

Assuming this might be “it” for Deep Purple, the timing makes sense. The tour will likely stretch into 2018, the band’s 50th anniversary; not a bad time to call it a day.
