Guitar god Eric Clapton says he’s “going deaf.”

In a recent interview with the BBC, he said he’s struggling with tinnitus. Add that to his previously-announced nerve damage (peripheral neuropathy), and one has to wonder just how much more gas Clapton has in the tank for live concerts. He says he’s planning on doing a few gigs this year, and that he’s “hoping that people will come along and see me [for] more than [because] I am a curiosity. I know that is part of it, because it’s amazing to myself that I am still here.”
