New Great America coaster provides ‘hangovers’

Six Flags Great America has a new loop (no relation) roller coaster on the way this summer. The “Mardi Gras Hangover” will be the park’s 16th coaster and will take riders back-and-forth in a giant loop, stopping in the middle to keep them suspended while upside down.

Naming a roller coaster after a hangover seems like an odd choice. It’s kinda like calling a ride “The New Year’s Eve One-Night Stand,” or “The Thanksgiving binge-and-purge.”
