Sure, Coachella got Guns N Roses this year. Surrounded by a wave of hipsters, drugs, and H&M flower headbands, GNR managed to bring rock to the desert. But Indio, California might be in store for something bigger. According to the Los Angeles times, the promoters behind Coachella are about to throw a massive Classic Rock Fest with: Sir Paul McCartney, The Rolling Stones, Roger Waters, The Who, Bob Dylan, and Neil Young.
“It’s so special in so many ways,” said Young’s longtime manager, Elliot Roberts, “because you won’t get a chance to see a bill like this, perhaps ever again. It’s a show I look forward to more than any show in a long time.”
The three-day festival is set to take place October 7th – 9th at the Empire Polo Grounds
