Chicago PD Issue “Be On The Look Out” For Sinead O’Connor

A listener tipped us that she had heard a “BOLO” (Be On The Look Out) issued for singer Sinead O’Connor on a police scanner, and now that TMZ is reporting it, we’ll share the information.

O’Connor has been in the Chicago area since January and it is our understanding that she contacted relatives in Ireland today threatening suicide by jumping off a bridge.  The family has contacted local authorities late this afternoon.

Our colleagues at ABC 7 captured an attempted suicide from their chopper this afternoon, but it was not O’Connor and a check with their assignment desk reveals this incident involved a 55 year old man.

You may recall that O’Connor drew the attention of police when she went missing last month from a home she has been staying at in Evanston.  Police found her at a Morton Grove motel and she was subsequently hospitalized.

If you encounter O’Connor, please call 911.

Here is audio from the police scanner captured by TMZ.
