Chuck Berry, the “Father of Rock and Roll,” died today at the age of 90.

Officers responded to a medical emergency at a residence outside of St. Louis at 12:40 Central, where Berry was found unresponsive.

Chuck Berry was there at the dawn of rock and roll, going on to influence everyone from Elvis to the Stones. He was one of rock and roll’s last true living legends, and will be missed.
