Deep Purple's Ian Gillan led over 3,300 guitars in a mass performance of “Smoke on the Water” this past Saturday.

The event, Guitars on the Beach, was held in Gillan's home town of Lyme Regis, U.K. where guitarist from all over gather and play in support of various local charities the help causes in the English seaside town.

Or as Pat Capone called it this morning, "Saturday at Guitar Center."
